During E3 2018, Konami announced Hyper Sports R for Switch. The game was touted as a new take on the company’s classic arcade game from 1984. There’s little news since the initial reveal, so perhaps it comes as no surprise that the project has been entirely cancelled.

Konami posted a message about the situation on Hyper Sports R’s official website. In a statement, the company said “various circumstances” led to the game’s cancellation.

One Way Heroics Plus

One Way Heroics will be sold on the Switch eShop starting June 18.

Hakoniwa Explorer Plus

Hakoniwa Explorer Plus, an action-RPG from Playism and Suxamethonium, is hitting Switch on June 18. Find some early footage below.

Playism will be publishing Hakoniwa Explorer Plus on Switch via the eShop.

7Levels today announced Destrobots, an upcoming top-down shooter. The game will launch exclusively for Switch on June 18.

Ratalakia Games and Rotten Mage have shared a launch trailer for Spacejacked, Switch’s new arcade tower defense game. We have the video below.

Spacejacked will be offered for Switch through the eShop starting June 12.

Sunset Riders

Hamster has announced that it will release Sunset Riders as its latest Arcade Archives title for Switch. It will launch worldwide tomorrow, June 11.

Sunset Riders originally came to arcades in 1991. Konami was behind the American Old West-based release, which has players experiencing run-and-gun gameplay.

Pricing for Arcade Archives Sunset Riders is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

NIS America

While Nintendo itself kicked off a big sale on the Switch eShop today, the same can also be said of NIS America. Essentially all of the publisher’s games have new discounts, with savings up to 60 percent.

The Almost Gone

The Almost Gone, a narrative exploration game, is approaching its release on Switch this month. For a look at some footage, check out the video below.

The Almost Gone will be out on June 25 via the eShop.

Hardcore Mecha

The mecha action game Hardcore Mecha is on the way to Switch, Lighting Games and Game Source Entertainment have announced. A release is planned for October.

Xenoblade is celebrating its 10th anniversary today. The first entry on Wii initially launched in Japan on June 10, 2010. To celebrate, some special artwork has been prepared, which we have above.

Xenoblade Chronicles wasn’t localized until the European edition in August 2011. North America had to continue waiting for the RPG, as Nintendo didn’t bring it over until April 2012.

Since the original Xenoblade Chronicles, we’ve seen Xenoblade Chronicles X on Wii U and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on Switch. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, a redone version of the Wii title, came to Switch late last month.
