Freedom Planet

The Switch eShop expands later this month with the addition of Freedom Planet starting August 30. Have a look at some new direct-feed footage below.

At Anime Expo 2018 last month, Death Mark’s localization was announced. Aksys Games is bringing it outside of Japan.

Interestingly, a limited edition of Death Mark will accompany the game’s western release. Amazon and GameStop both have listings up for this version. Unfortunately, neither provide details on what it includes.

Though no official announcement has been made, Super Street: The Game is on the way to Switch. Various retailers are listing the title for release, including GAME.

Yesterday, GameXplain shared a video showing a bunch of comparisons between returning stages in Smash Bros. Wii U and their updated versions in Smash Bros. Ultimate. Something similar has been done for the 3DS levels as well. Check out the latest comparisons in the video below.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country will allow players to revisit some areas from the original game, but they’ll be a bit different this time around since the setting takes place 500 years earlier. Additionally, an entirely new Titan will be included: the appropriately-named Torna.

Update: Kotaku is reporting that Diablo III will be announced for Switch tomorrow. Stay tuned.


Original: A short while ago, Forbes posted an article with an apparent report on Diablo III – Eternal Collection for Switch. It was removed shortly after, though its full contents were captured online.

Diablo III – Eternal Collection is said to include Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer expansions along with all additional content the game has received. There will also be some additional features like cloud saving support and more.

Earlier today, Gone Home was announced for Switch. The game arrives digitally on the eShop on August 23.

As it turns out, Gone Home will have a physical release as well. We don’t have all of the details just yet, though iam8bit will be handling that. The company also intends to give fans an opportunity to purchase a vinyl. We’ll report back with further details when we have them.

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – DirectOwl’s Cut is coming to Switch. That’s according to a rating from the ESRB, which rated the title today. THQ Nordic is listed as publisher.

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is described as a “blistering hardcore platformer with contrasting worlds.” We have more information and a trailer below.
