RPG Maker MV launches February 26

During a panel at PAX West 2018 today, NIS America revealed the release date for RPG Maker MV. The title will be available starting February 26, 2019.
RPG Maker MV allows users to create their own games and share them with others. The Switch and Xbox One versions will be compatible. By downloading the RPG Maker Player, others can experience your creations – even if they don’t own RPG Maker MV.
RPG Maker MV will have double the amount of content from the original PC release. Additionally, USB keyboard support is included.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle sells over two million copies

We have a sales update on Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, straight from the game’s director. Since launch, the Switch title has managed to sell over two million copies.
Ubisoft hasn’t said too much about Mario + Rabbids’ sales on the record. However, as of last September, it was the best-selling third-party game on Switch.

Yesterday, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes finally received its release date. After originally targeted for the end of 2018, we’ll be seeing the game at the start of 2019 instead.
Director Suda51 offered up his reasoning as to why Travis Strikes Again is now a 2019 title. In an interview with Destructoid, he pointed to Smash Bros.:

Rumor: Future Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC characters datamined

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has seen a surprisingly long life in terms of continued DLC. Just a few days ago, Bandai Namco sent out Extra Pack 3. There was a bunch of stuff here, highlighted by the additions of Kefla and Super Baby Vegeta as new DLC.
Bandai Namco may have plans for even more DLC in the future. After datamining Extra Pack 3, a couple of additional characters may have been unearthed. We have the information below, though be warned of possible spoilers connecting to the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie.
Slice, Dice and Rice due out in the west next week

Earlier in the week, Arc System Works brought Slice, Dice and Rice to the Japanese Switch eShop. Since it supported English, we pretty much expected that a western release would be right behind.
Arc System Works has in fact confirmed that we’ll be seeing Slice, Dice and Rice overseas next week – specifically September 6. We have an English trailer below.

YIIK finally goes gold, release date within the next two months

Ackk Studios has been working on YIKK for a few years now. Finally though, the developer has confirmed that development is complete and the game has gone gold.
The only downside is that we still have several weeks to go until we receive an actual release date. Ackk says that we’ll have news about that “within the next two months”. When we do have the release date, we’ll bring that to you.
