Back in December, Shin Megami Tensei V producer Kazuyuki Yamai said that the game’s development was in a “scrap-and-build phase.” But in a new interview with 4Gamer, Yamai has indicated that full-scale development has now started.

Saturday Morning RPG was recently confirmed for Switch, and it was notable for two reasons. For one thing, it was announced as Limited Run Games’ first title for the console, meaning it will be receiving a physical release. It’s also a new game for the system – and a pretty good one at that.

Josh Fairhurst, the boss of Mighty Rabbit Studios, has actually been wanting to make a sequel to Saturday Morning RPG. And if it does well on Switch, that could pave the way for a sequel.

Fairhurst recently tweeted:

Famitsu has a big update on Kirby Star Allies this week. Aside from revealing Pon & Con as a boss returning from Kirby’s Dream Land 3, the magazine shares other information as well.

At one point in the game, after Kirby and others have fought hard, just when they thought Planet Popstar would finally return to peace… suddenly a giant shadow appears, which turns out to be the Dark Fortress Jamahalda. It sticks its tip to the surface to land. Kirby and the rest of the gang ride the Warp Star and head to the fortress without any fear, even though an eerie atmosphere surrounds it.

Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles

Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles is coming to Switch, according to a listing on Amazon Germany. The retailer lists a tentative May 31 release date, so this could be a late Q1/Q2 release.

Judging by the boxart, Merge Games is helping to bring the game physically to Switch. Headup Games may also be involved.

Forever Entertainment is bringing the sci-fi adventure game Hollow to Switch next week. On Twitter, the developer shared some new technical information.
