SEGA on the decision to make Super Sonic DLC in Sonic Forces free forever

SEGA recently announced that the Super Sonic DLC in Sonic Forces will be made free forever. That wasn’t the original plan, however.
The Super Sonic DLC launched at the end of December for free. After about a month, it was intended to cost $2. SEGA ended up reversing that decision a couple of weeks ago.

During Nintendo’s financial results briefing, the company made the new animated Mario movie with Illumination official. Shigeru Miyamoto and Chris Meledandri will be co-producing. At the Q&A portion of the briefing, Miyamoto shared more details on how the partnership came to be.
Miyamoto started out by saying that he’s been considering an animated movie for many years. However, in his view, creating games and movies aren’t really that similar.

Battle Chef Brigade dev planning “some fun surprises” for this year

Trinket Studios may not be finished with Battle Chef Brigade. When asked about the possibility of updating the game with online support, the developer said that “some fun surprises” are planned for this year.

Song of Memories confirmed for physical release in the west

The localization of Song of Memories was announced this week. In both North America and Europe, the game will be published by PQube.
Fans of physical releases will be happy to hear that Song of Memories won’t be an eShop exclusive. It will be sold at retailers, and Amazon UK has already opened pre-orders here. We also have the game’s boxart above.

The Men of Yoshiwara: Kikuya makes a surprise appearance on the North American Switch eShop

Last week, 10 Second Run Returns came to the North American Switch eShop without any notice. It hadn’t been mentioned in the Nintendo Download report or anywhere else recently.
This has now happened for the second week in a row. Despite missing from the Nintendo Download press release, The Men of Yoshiwara: Kikuya appeared on the North American eShop. The visual novel can be purchased for $19.99.
