Update: Bumped to the top. Nintendo has confirmed the same stages and weapons for Europe (so probably North America as well). We’ve added in the full weapon sets below.

Original: The Splatoon Twitter account has revealed the stages that will be used in the Japanese Splatfest World Premiere tomorrow. It’s not clear if these stages will also be used in the European and North American versions of the Splatfest, though it seems likely that they will be.

In any case, for the first two hours of the Japanese Splatfest, players will be battling on Starfish Main Stage and Inkblot Academy. For the final two hours, fights will be taking place on Moray Towers and Humpback Pump Track. Special nighttime versions of the maps will be used for the Splatfest.

Since this is essentially just a demo version, players won’t be able to use their own weapons. Instead, they will be able to choose from a total of four – Tentatek Splattershot, Splat Dualies, Splat Roller and Splat Charger.

As for North America, Nintendo said yesterday that there isn’t any impact. That’s because the New 3DS was only offered in special bundles and promotions.
