Update: Rather than photos of the actual Super Nintendo World, what we may have here instead is a stage of sorts being prepared for an upcoming event. One of the photos also appears to have the word “Grand” hidden in the back. In any case, these might not be construction photos.

Original: It was assumed that construction on Super Nintendo World was just starting a little over a month ago. That’s now official, with the first true photos emerging today. It’s obviously very early on, but construction images show Warp Pipes and Piranha Plants plus brick walls.

Just like the poison mist yesterday, the Splatoon Twitter account has introduced another new sub weapon in Splatoon 2 today. The “robot bomb” is a sort of walking homing missile. You throw it, and once it lands, it’ll detect the nearest enemy in a certain radius and starts walking towards them until it explodes.

One of the weapon kits that’ll have the robot bomb sub is the “Foxy”, a roller-type weapon that seems to be quite similar in appearance to the Octobrush from the first game. It will also have the Inkjet special.

Check out the robot bomb in action, as well as look at some screenshots of it and the Foxy:

Apparently, the oldest known records of extendable Arms date back to about 1,500 years ago, although some experts argue that they have been around for about 4,000 years. They also weren’t limited to humans – even animals and plants were said to possess that ability.
