Miiverse

A new Miiverse update went live this week. There aren’t any major additions, but there are a couple of changes.

First, for the Wii U, 3DS, and PC version of Miiverse, users now need to choose a tag when creating a message in the Discussion section. Options include “Hint”, “Question”, “Looking for Teammate”, and more.

Also new to the PC version of Miiverse are links to different game pages on Nintendo’s Japanese website. These pages have basic information about different titles and allow consumers to make purchases. Note that this feature is only live in Japan at the moment.

It’s Tuesday, which means new content for Pokemon Shuffle.

First of all, the Mega Garchomp competition has ended, so make sure to claim your rewards.

New main stages have been added to the game. If you’ve managed to beat the fairly tough Roserade, you can now proceed with stage #251, Inkay.

Completing the Regi trio, Regice is now available as a special stage. You have until December 28th to beat it and catch it.

Another Legendary Pokemon making its return is Shaymin. You have until January 5th to get it. The first time you beat the stage, you will also receive a Jewel, so it’s worth doing it even if you have Shaymin already.

Finally, making its debut in Pokemon Shuffle is Keldeo in its Resolute form. It’s an escalation battle, meaning it will get progressively easier to catch it. You will also receive rewards after beating certain levels of this stage:

251000 Coins
301 Mega Speedup
401000 coins
501 Mega Speedup
601000 Coins
701 Disruption Delay
801 Attack Power Up
901000 Coins
1001 Mega Speedup

Update: Added in a Miiverse message from Aonuma after the break.
