Square Enix held one final live stream for Bravely Second earlier today. You can find it below, along with a bunch of details that were shared during the event.

– Futagi is excited to sit on Twitter and read reactions, be they cries of pain or joy
– Takahashi doesn’t feel like it’s actually happening
– According to Asano, a ton of story stuff got kept a secret compared to the average game, so he’s really excited, be it good or bad
– Tomahawk in particular is apparently super strong according to Takahashi
– A lot of the old jobs have gotten significant changes based on user feedback, ease of use, etc.
– Talking about the new Moon Base restoration mini game. Replaces the town building mini game. Get peeps with street pass etc.
– New mini-game. Kapu Kapu Maker. You make stuffed animals of the weird monster. “You prob have no idea what we’re talking about.”
– You unlock music in the music player by playing that as well
– If you talk to the pig, you can warp to any town you’ve been to already
– Looks like all the old towns have seen changes
– There are more weapon types in the game as well
– 4/23 The Special Bravely Second site will go up. Events, achievements, etc. Carry on data from FTS and you get the freelancer stuff.
– Basically you can have the freelancer outfit equipped regardless of what job you’re using
– There are other ways to get those, but folks with saves get it right off the bat
– From 4/24 to 4.30, there will be 6 different Maou that’ll be fightable. Two of those are brand new.
– Bravely Second rubber straps available at the Square Enix e-Store. Available in July.
– Bravely Second Collabo Cafe Part 2. From 5/15. More details coming later.
– Final words! Starting with Futagi. “We think we’ve made something even better than the last game. Play with your friends!”
Takahashi: People watching are probably already fans, but I’m looking forward to playing along with everyone on Thursday.”
– Asano: We designed this stream with folks who weren’t sure if they wanted to buy Bravely Second or not in mind. It’s been over two years since we made Bravely Default. We’ve spent the last 2 and a half years preparing for this, and I think we’ve made something great. And as always, we’d be happy if you spread the word on twitter etc, and talked about the game. I’m sure we’ll meet again soon. Thanks!
