Koei Tecmo has announced that its release of Hyrule Warriors has now shipped 1 million untits globally, with the possibility that the majority of those numbers are from the US.

At this time we have no data for Europe however we know that in its first month’s shipment alone of Hyrule Warriors we saw 190,00 units shipped in the US and another 100,000 in Japan. Now it seems as if we are seeing shipments of at least 400,000 in the US and at least 120,000 in Japan.

In honor of this Koei Tecmo has released wallpaper for your enjoyment. Check out the screenshots of the wallpaper below and click on the Koei Tecmo link to download your own.

The download will take up 1871 Blocks of system memory. No word as to how GameStop stores are going to distribute the demo yet, as the demo information surfaced courtesy of some dumpster diving, but we suspect it will be quite soon given the March release date.
