Earlier this week, Slightly Mad Studios made a few comments indicating that the Wii U version of Project CARS is in serious jeopardy. To put things simply, the team is experiencing issues getting its game running on Nintendo’s hardware at an acceptable frame rate, and serious sacrifices may need to be made. Slightly Mad Studios’ Ian Bell also indicated that moving the Wii U version to a future Nintendo console may make more sense.

Bell has now followed up on his earlier comments with a new statement. Slightly Mad Studios hasn’t entirely given up on the possibility of a Wii U version, but if the team can’t make it work, it’ll be moved to “the next Nintendo machine.”

Here is yet another bit of torture from Nintendo in the form of a single player commercial for Splatoon. I think it is safe to say that this title will be fun by yourself or with others!

The indie title Fullblast, arrives in Europe on the Wii U eShop on June 4. The game is a shoot ’em up style that features 12 random levels, 3 bosses, power-ups and power-downs, as well as a heavy metal soundtrack.

Roving Rogue, an exclusive Wii U eShop title will finally be released on June 25 in Europe. The game was announced last year and is an old-school 2D platformer with multiplayer support for up to four players. The game was worked on by a team of students that won the iDEAM U contest and was announced at the  PAD Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

Nintendo of Europe has announced yet another addition to the Club Nintendo Stars Catalogue. The latest item to be made available is a Super Mario themed reusable shopping bag. The bag can be acquired with 3000 coins and folds up into a convenient little envelope for easy travel. The bag will be available in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

Over the past couple of weeks, Austin has been playing the heck out of Splatoon. The game has a bunch of neat details, and he’s picked up on a few of them that fans might be interested in.

Dragon Quest III – Adventure (field music)

As with previous Theatrhythm Dragon Quest DLC, the tracks above are free to download.
