Actor hired to wear Donkey Kong costume at 2013 L.A. Zoo event files lawsuit against Nintendo

Last year, Nintendo held an event at the Los Angeles Zoo to celebrate the launch of Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. The company went as far as to hire an actor – Parker Mills – to wear a Donkey Kong costume.
Mills has now filed a lawsuit against Nintendo, claiming that he was denied breaks and was not provided with the required ice pack to cool him down as he talked to zoo guests. The actor’s attorneys say that he suffered an aortic dissection and was forced to undergo surgery to implant a permanent heart defibrillator.
Mills’ lawsuit ultimately alleges, as reported by the LA Times, “that the company ambassador who was hired to escort him and oversee and control his activities failed to provide the proper oversight.”
Nintendo has not yet shared an official comment about the situation.
Pokemon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire, Namco Museum hitting the Japanese Wii U Virtual Console next week

Two new games will be available on the Japanese Wii U Virtual Console next week. They are as follows:
Pokemon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire (GBA, 702 yen)
Namco Museum (GBA, 702 yen)
The games above are hitting the Japanese eShop on December 10.
Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire version 1.2 patch out now

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire have now received the version 1.2 patch for Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire. This should apply to all territories – North America, Europe, and Japan.
The patch can be downloaded from the 3DS eShop. It takes up 271 blocks of space.

Epic Mickey 2, Disney Planes available for $10 on the Wii U eShop

A pair of Disney titles have been discounted to $10 on the Wii U eShop. The games in question are Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two as well as Disney Planes. If you’re interested in either title, be sure to make a purchase by December 8.

Majesco Entertainment is “downsizing”

Majesco Entertainment’s future continues to look grim. Former vice president of publishing Casey Lynch is no longer with the publisher, and said in a tweet that the company is “downsizing”.
The message reads:
. @Majesco is downsizing & I am moving on. Thx for supporting @Midnight_City, more soon on where I'm headed next (hint: its super rad!) <3

Meanwhile, Game Informer attempted to reach Midnight City communications director John Kopp via email, but was presented with an auto-reply stating that he is also no longer with the company.
