Capcom

Capcom has reported its latest financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2014.

During this period, Monster Hunter 4 was one of the publisher’s highest-performing titles. The 3DS game experienced “explosive popularity” having shifted 4.1 million units. As of now, it’s Capcom’s sixth best-selling game of all time.

Capcom also said that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Dual – Destinies “basically achieved” its target,and DuckTales Remastered saw an “over-performance”.

Capcom’s sales increased by 8.6 percent to ¥102 billion ($1 billion), and profit rose 15.9 percent to ¥3.4 billion ($33.8 million). The company intends to bring out online-centric games for PC and other platforms, including Deep Down.

New information was released through Tecmo Koei’s financial results, Hyrule Warriors (known in Japan as Zelda Musou) is coming to Japan this summer. A Western release is set for later this year. This announcement came through Tecmo Koei and not Nintendo as Nintendo are only responsible for the publishing in the west.
