Watch Dogs Wii U reconfirmed for a Fall 2014 release

When Watch Dogs released across a number of platforms last week it quickly became one of Ubisoft’s best selling titles. However, many Nintendo fans are still itching to play the game and hoping for a solid release date for the Wii U version. Well, Ubisoft have confirmed today through PR communications that the game is still slated for a 2014 Fall release on Wii U.

Nintendo UK Store reveal pre-order offer for Tomodachi Life

Nintendo UK have announced through their Twitter account a special pre-order offer for Tomodachi Life. Anyone who pre-orders the game through the Nintendo UK store will get £5 off their next order with the store. Tomodachi Life is due for release on the 6th of June in the UK, so better be quick if you want to take advantage of this offer!

Nintendo of Korea set to localize Persona Q this year

Much like they did with Shin Megami Tensei IV, Nintendo of Korea have announced that they will be localizing and publishing Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth some time in 2014. The Shin Megami Tensei series is one that has been localized to Korea for a number of years so while this isn’t entirely unexpected, it’s certainly good news for Persona fans in South Korea
Tomodachi Life Miiverse opened, offers early peak at the game

Tomodachi Life may only be a couple of days away from launching in in the West, but for those looking for some more screenshots / what the early adopters have to say, the official Miiverse is now live. It doesn’t seem overly populated now but I suspect that more posts will start flowing in as it gets closer to release.

Brain Age on Wii U getting patched, adds save states

Nintendo of Japan just announced that an update will be coming to Brain Age for Wii U, adding save states and a Virtual Console menu. It’s possible that this might also tie into the Miiverse closure announcement but at present this is unclear.

Brain Age Miiverse open in Japan, only available until June 30th

Though the game was just released, Brain Age’s Miiverse page states that the game will only be available until June 30th. It’s unclear as to why this decision was made but we’ll update the story if anything else surfaces.
Pokemon Art Academy will cost 3 909 yen in Japan

Coming to the eShop in just a couple of weeks, it was revealed that Pokemon Art Academy will cost 3909 yen when it launches. No word on the Western pricing has been revealed as of yet.

Looking at a new item today, Sakurai explains the new Boomerang item as recently seen in Mario Kart 8:
Here’s a new item that we’ve thrown in–the boomerang. As you’d guess, it’ll fly back into your hands after you throw it, and if you keep catching it, its attack power grows with each throw! However, opponents can nab the boomerang out of the air, so it might be an easier item to use in Smash Run.
