Image & Form confirms plans for SteamWorld Dig sequel

Image & Form has confirmed plans to create a sequel to SteamWorld Dig. However, that’s not the next entry in the overall “SteamWorld” series.
On Twitter, Image & Form said that a brand new SteamWorld game will be released next. After this, the “Dig” sequel will begin development.

Elsewhere on Twitter, Image & Form revealed one of SteamWorld Dig’s working titles:
SteamWorld Dig fun fact #2: One long-standing working title for the game was "SteamWorld Core".

A listing on Nintendo’s website confirms that Mach Rider will be the next 3DS Virtual Console release in North America. The game will be available tomorrow, April 10, for $4.99. You can check out the official page here.
