Siliconera has put up a noteworthy interview with Reggie Fils-Aime. The Nintendo of America president commented on the company’s developers in the west, how Monolith Soft has been appearing in credits of many Nintendo titles as of late, and how fans influence Nintendo’s decisions (sadly, they don’t).

Video: Fixing the 2DS’ “phantom stylus” issues

There are quite a few 2DS users who have experienced a “phantom stylus” problem with their system. The issue depresses the upper left corner and endlessly cycles the screen.
Thankfully, one 2DS owner appears to have come up with a fix. Watch the video above for some instructions which may solve the problem if you happen to encounter it.

Teslagrad reconfirmed for release on Wii U in 2014, details coming early next year

Rain Games has reconfirmed its plans to launch the console versions of Teslagrad – which includes Wii U, of course – in 2014. Details will be shared early next year. According to Rain, development of the Wii U and PS3 versions are “going ahead at a good pace”.

The incredible Mario mural above is located at an elementary school in the city of Shenzhen. As for why it was put up, it’s said to give children something to aspire to and helps reduce fears about attending school. The school also puts a considerable amount of focus in anime and manga education, though it’s true that Mario is actually a video game.
