Square Enix is readying several pre-order bonuses for Bravely Second in Japan.

By reserving the game on the company’s e-store, players will receive the exclusive Trinity Sword. This features a new ability called Divine Night that lets you absorb the damage you’d normally take, during a Default.

Amazon Japan is giving out the Ogre’s Swing katana. The weapon has the Shell Split ability that was used by Pirates in Bravely Default. It’s capable of lowering the target’s physical defense up to 75%.

Another pre-order bonus, the Dragonbreath bow, comes from GEO Hyper Media Shop. The bow makes use of the new ability Physical Up, which is used to increase a target’s physical attack.

Last but not least is the Holy Spear Garuda from Game Tsutaya. This has the Haste Magic – a level 2 Time Magic in Bravely Default – that increases speed by up to 150 percent.

StreetPass tags are generally limited to the same country as your 3DS system… but not today! Nintendo has kicked off “World StreetPass Holidays” – an event that allows gamers in North America and Europe to connect with each other.

Simply take your 3DS to a Nintendo Zone by January 4. You’ll then be able to StreetPass with other system owners in Europe. Nintendo advises fans to visit a North American Nintendo Zone in the morning for a better chance of getting European StreetPass tags.

Separate from World StreetPass Holidays, those who visit a Nintendo Zone and receive at least one StreetPass tag between December 24 and January 4 will additionally be entered into a sweepstakes to win a Wii U system (Nintendo Network ID required).

Thanks to Ben for the tip.
