Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker series apparently coming to an end with Joker 3 Professional

Square Enix is seemingly ending the Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker series. With Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3, which launches in Japan next February, no additional games will be created. The latest issue of V Jump mentions that this latest title will be the final adventure and “grand finale.”
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 Professional will be a compilation of sorts. Over 700 monsters will be included in the game. The original Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 came out in March.
The Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker series started out on DS a decade ago. In North America and Europe, the first two titles were localized, though the third one isn’t available in English currently.

The Momotaro Dentetsu may not be well-recognized in the west, but it’s pretty big in Japan. Nintendo is now publishing the latest entry, Momotaro Dentetsu 2017: Tachiagare Nippon!!, on December 22. Famitsu shares more about the game in its latest issue.
The basic rules of the game are still exactly the same as past titles. Players become the president of a railroad company, move between stations based on the dice numbers rolled, and aim to become the first one to arrive at the designated destination. However, it is also important to gather fortune by buying things sold at other stations as well.
Mario Party: Star Rush sold through 20% of its initial shipment in Japan

Mario Party: Star Rush is off to a slow start in Japan. According to Media Create and Dengeki reports, it sold less than 30,000 units in its first week. Dengeki now further says that the game sold through just 20 percent of its initial shipment.
Prior to Star Rush, Mario Party: Island Tour hit 3DS. That one sold 133,000 copies in its first week before going on to move 553,000 units in total.

Capcom expects to sell two million copies of Monster Hunter XX

Monster Hunter XX was announced for a Japanese 3DS release yesterday. In a follow up for its financial results, Capcom now says it expects to sell two million copies of the game. It’s slated for March 18 in Japan, and the latest fiscal quarter ends on March 31.

Pokemon games are $32 on Amazon, including Sun/Moon
