3DS

Pre-loading functionality has been out on Wii U for quite awhile now, but we’ve yet to see the feature be fully utilized on 3DS. In Japan, Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. is the first 3DS game to take advantage of pre-loading. But what about the west?

Nintendo’s website indicates that Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition will in fact allow for pre-loading. Consumers can purchase a code, and we assume it can then be used to grab most of the game’s data before launch.

3DS owners in Europe can head to a local Nintendo Zone to obtain a new theme in honor of International StreetPass Week. Sadly, I don’t believe it’s being offered in North America!

Update: 3DS owners in Europe have access to Satoru Shibata.

Assuming your 3DS is connected to the Internet, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime should be arriving in the StreetPass Mii Plaza – Bowser hat and all! Just make sure you have SpotPass enabled and he’ll be showing up shortly.

StreetPass Mii Plaza has received a 4.0 update in Europe. You’ll need to grab the update directly from the app rather than through the eShop.

Along with today’s update, users can now purchase the new StreetPass Fishing (Ultimate Angler) and StreetPass Zombies (Battleground Z) games in addition to StreetPass Mii Plaza Premium.

We’ll update this post when we confirm that the new content is live in North America.

Square Enix has one last stream coming up next week for Bravely Second. It’ll be more of an event to answer fan questions, but hopefully we’ll be seeing footage as well.

We’ve attached the YouTube stream below. It will kick off at 7 AM ET / 4 AM PT / 12 PM in the UK / 1 PM in Europe on Tuesday.

New screenshots from The Great Ace Attorney are now available for viewing. Check out the gallery below for the latest set of images.

Well, that didn’t take long. A glitch has already been found concerning Mewtwo that can be done on the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros., giving Mewtwo a custom moveset, YouTube user Mankalor shows.

For those of you that have already received Mewtwo, I’m sure you may have heard or noticed by now that he doesn’t have any official custom moves, so what’s done to achieve a custom moveset is Mewtwo seemingly inherits moves from a Mii fighter that’s transferred from the Wii U version of the game. Check out the crazy video below and watch what happens when you give Mewtwo moves he’s not meant to have!
