Nintendo Switch Online

The newest update for the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app is out now (version 1.10.0) on iOS and Android devices. This ~50MB update seemingly fixes a few bugs that were reported, but the bugs are not specified.

The official patch notes are below:

Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. There’s not much change this week, though Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend does appear for the first time.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between November 19 and November 25.

A number of new deals are up and running on the North American Switch eShop. These include BlazBlue and Guilty Gear games, ibb & obb, Namco Museum, The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories, and more.

Remothered: Broken Porcelain

Remothered: Broken Porcelain has been given a new 1.16 update on Switch. It actually incorporates several patches, bringing it more closely in line with the PC version.

The update includes a number of improvements, fixes, and more. We’ve included the full patch notes below.

Nintendo has published its latest Japanese Switch commercial for the winter season. Below, the new advert shows off Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Ring Fit Adventure.

Dragon Ball FighterZ

Dragon Ball FighterZ still has a couple of characters remaining as part of FighterZ Pass 3. So far, Goku (Ultra Instinct), Kefla, and Master Roshi have been added to the roster. But there hasn’t been any news since Master Roshi was revealed in August and released in September.

Thankfully, we’re only a couple of weeks away from another announcement. The next FighterZ Pass 3 character will be revealed during the Japanese playoffs on December 20, producer Tomoko Hiroki confirmed during the Spanish Dragon Ball FighterZ national championship. The release will be taking place “around January.”

Medabots Classics Plus

Medabots Classics Plus, a collection containing numerous games in the Medabots series from Game Boy through Game Boy Advance, launched in Japan last month. Take a look at some footage below.

A western release for Medabots Classics Plus has not been announced at this time.

Doom Eternal

Panic Button has helped bring a slew of different titles to Switch, but the studio just wrapped up what it says was the team’s most difficult port yet. Doom Eternal is finally coming to Switch, though it certainly wasn’t an easy task to get the game running.

Senior producer Cody Nicewarner and lead engineer Travis Archer at Panic Button recently chatted with Nintendo Everything about the Switch version of Doom Eternal. As part of that, we were able to learn more about the challenges involved during development. Nicewarner and Archer also commented on the Switch version’s frame rate / resolution, plans for DLC, and more.
