Super Mario 3D All-Stars

Some fans have been a bit confused regarding the controls for Super Mario 3D All-Stars – specifically as it relates to Super Mario Galaxy. In a notice posted on the official page, Nintendo says that players can “shake a Joy-Con controller to activate Mario’s Spin ability or pass a Joy-Con controller to a friend for some extra help in Co-Star Mode.” For Switch Lite users, “detached Joy-Con controllers are required and sold separately.”

Nintendo has now clarified its plans for controls. In a statement sent to Polygon, the company said:

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit

Additional details have come in regarding Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit following today’s announcement.

Given that race cars are included, it makes sense that the game will be sold at retail. However, Nintendo has indicated that it’ll come with a download code for the eShop rather than an actual cartridge. You’ll need at least 1.1GB of free space.

Spellbreak

Spellbreak debuted on Switch today, and footage of the game in action has now emerged. Check out the gameplay below.

Spellbreak is available for Switch as a free-to-play title via the eShop.

World's End Club

Publisher Izanagi Games and developer Too Kyo Games today announced that World’s End Club, an action-adventure game, will be released for Switch in Spring 2021.

Zero Escape creator Kotaro Uchikoshi is involved with the scenario and directing. Danganronpa writer Kazutaka Kodaka is also acting as creative director.

Talking Tom Candy Run

Outfit7 Limited has announced that Talking Tom Candy Run, its popular endless runner from mobile, is making the jump to Switch. It’ll be out today as a digital download on the eShop.

Here’s an overview of the game:

Fuser

The interactive music game Fuser will launch on November 10, Harmonix has announced. Fans will be able to purchase the title either physically or digitally.

Fuser features over 100 songs, featuring top artists from across the globe. It lets players “fuse together elements from hit songs across pop, rap/hip-hop, R&B, dance, rock, country, Latin and Caribbean music.”
