After it was announced for the west earlier today, YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World is confirmed to be receiving a limited edition. It will be sold through the NIS America store.

Game Informer posted a new clip from Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order showing off a boss fight in action. Check out a battle against Venom and Electro below.

If you were hoping for a physical version of Oninaki in the west, you might be out of luck. Square Enix has said that there will be no such option in North America and Europe.

Oninaki will have a physical release in Japan, and Play-Asia is already taking pre-orders here. The good news is that anyone can import a copy and play it on their system regardless of region. However, keep in mind that English support for the Japanese physical release is not yet confirmed. It’s likely given what happened with I Am Setsuna, though we do need to mention that regardless.

I Am Setsuna never had a physical version on Switch overseas. Square Enix did offer one for Lost Sphear, though only through its online store.

YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World was recently rated by the ESRB, suggesting that the Switch version would be coming west. Spike Chunsoft has now officially confirmed the news.

Spike Chunsoft will publish YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World in North America on October 1 – news about Europe should follow in the near future. A “Day 1 Edition” will be offered that includes a voucher code for 8-bit YU-NO’s Great Adventure – “an action game set in classic 8-bit style featuring the characters from YU-NO”.
