Nintendo says Switch Online NES controller’s layout “doesn’t lend itself” to handheld play

It was recently announced that Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will be able to purchase new NES controllers for use with classic games on the system. We know that they work when the system is docked or in tabletop mode, but how about portable play?
USgamer decided to ask Nintendo that very question. In a statement, the company said that “the controller’s horizontal layout doesn’t lend itself to being used while vertically attached to the Nintendo Switch console.”

Curve Digital bringing The Swindle to Switch next month

First-person horror game Silver Chains coming to Switch

Developer Cracked Heads Games and Headup have announced Silver Chains, an Unreal Engine 4-made first-person horror title known as Silver Chains. Players will be attempting to find out about the terrible events that transpired in an old abandoned manner.

Bad North update out now (version 1.02)

Bad North’s next update is now available to download on Switch. Version 1.02 is live, addressing a number of bugs and making user interface adjustments.
Another update is also planned for Bad North “which comes with a large amount of gameplay and balance improvements.”
