[Let’s Talk] Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct reactions – November 2018

A Nintendo Direct for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate rolled right in and aired earlier this week. Nintendo pretty much filled in the blanks on some of the uncertainties surrounding the game. The last initial characters were revealed, DLC was confirmed, the Spirits mode was detailed, we got a first look at the new Adventure Mode: World of Light, and more. There was a lot that was discussed in the end, so this recap should come in handy if you want to get a quick reminder on everything shown.
Now that we mostly know about everything surrounding Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, how is everyone feeling about the game? Did this week’s Nintendo Direct get you more hyped or were you disappointed? Fate/Extella Link – Fleeting Glory Limited Edition pre-orders open

XSEED announced this week that Fate/Extella Link is coming to North America in Q1 2019. Better yet, it’ll be accompanied by a special release. Amazon is taking pre-orders for the Fleeting Glory Limited Edition here.
The limited edition comes with a few extra goodies. Fans will be given the game, a soundtrack CD, a pack of 10 collectible cards depicting each of the new Servants, a cloth poster, and an acrylic diorama all housed in a custom box.

Etrian Odyssey and Shin Megami Tensei games discounted on the 3DS eShop

Nintendo Live 2018 is happening in Tokyo this weekend, with another event to follow in Kyoto later in the month. Nintendo is offering playable demos, hosting a variety of tournaments, and more.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai actually stopped by earlier today and mainly showed off the Classic and Spirits modes in a 22-minute presentation. We have the recording of that below, along with a ton of additional footage.

Fire Emblem Heroes is hosting another event. Bound Hero Battle Revival: Tiki & Nowi is live, featuring two characters from Fire Emblem Awakening.
Players can put their skills to the test in Hard and Infernal Modes. There are also limited-time special quests available.
Bound Hero Battle Revival: Tiki & Nowi will be running until November 10.
Nintendo’s site seemingly reveals that YouTube app is coming to Switch next week

Switch is just a few months away from its second anniversary. Some system owners have been clamoring for video apps since its release, but there haven’t been too many options. Hulu came to Switch last November, but offerings since then have been few and far between.
The good news is that, next week, Switch might be receiving a major video app. Though the page is currently inaccessible, Nintendo’s website indicates that YouTube is launching on the eShop very soon.
