Thimbleweed Park physical pre-orders surpass 10,000 units, Limited Run to continue with Switch pre-orders

Limited Run Games, a distributor of physical releases, is officially on board with Switch. Thimbleweed Park is the company’s first release, and pre-orders went live a couple of weeks ago.
In just a few days, reservations are confirmed to have already surpassed 10,000 units. Due to that success, Limited Run intends to continue with the open pre-order system on Switch.
Thimbleweed Park will still technically be a limited release. Limited Run says that once it’s manufactured, there will be no reprints.
Square Enix on why Dragon Quest XI was announced for Switch so early, leaving the 3DS version in Japan

We’ve known that Square Enix has had plans to bring Dragon Quest XI to Switch for a very long time. Even before the system had its name, back when it was known as NX, there was talk about putting the RPG on Nintendo’s newest platform. Yet even after a few years, we’ve yet to see a single piece of media for the Switch version.
So why make such an early announcement? In an interview with Game Informer, Dragon Quest XI producer Hokuto Okamoto spoke about Square Enix confirming Dragon Quest XI for Switch when it did.

SEGA Ages announced for Switch

During SEGA Fes in Japan today, it was announced that SEGA Ages is coming to Switch.
SEGA Ages is a new digital download initiative for the eShop. Over 15 games from SEGA’s catalog will be released courtesy of M2. Titles including Sonic the Hedgehog, Thunder Force IV, and Phantasy Star will all be represented.
SEGA Ages will begin to launch this summer via the eShop.

All dialogue in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is fully voiced

When Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire was funded on Fig last year, a stretch goal was reached promising double the voiceover originally planned. Obsidian Entertainment actually went above and beyond during development.
In a video posted on Twitter earlier today, audio director Justin Bell confirmed that all dialogue is fully voiced in Pillars of Eternity II. Here’s the brief clip in question:

Mega Man X Legacy Collection will have the SNES version of Mega Man X3

Capcom produced a few different versions of Mega Man X3. What does that mean for Mega Man X Legacy Collection, which was officially unveiled this week? Well, Capcom has confirmed that the package will have the SNES version of Mega Man X3.
Mega Man X3 first appeared on Nintendo’s older system way back in 1995. It has appeared on a few other platforms, including the PlayStation, SEGA Saturn, and Windows.
