Defense Dome update out in North America on Wednesday

HullBreach Studios is updating Defense Dome in North America later this week. On Wednesday, a patch will be going live to address a few issues.
Here’s the news from HullBreach’s Twitter page:
An update to #DefenseDome #WiiU will be in NA on the 10th. It fixes minor bugs with gyro calibration, audio cutting out, and hit detection.

Anima: Gate of Memories’ Wii U version in doubt

The situation surrounding Anima: Gate of Memories on Wii U has been a weird one. During the project’s early days, an eShop release was pretty much set in stone. Publisher BadLand Indie ended up claiming last July that a Wii U version is no longer in the cards, which then prompted the game’s developer to say otherwise.
Now things have taken a turn for the worse once again. Here’s an excerpt from Anima’s latest Kickstarter update:
“Anima Gate of Memories will be released simultaneously in Windows, Xbox One and PS4 and we are working to be able to release a few months later a WiiU version (which, even if we are still not sure, we hope that will be possible). Right now we are trying to discover if we can provide a console key. Give us a few more weeks to see if it can be done.”
The Wii U version hasn’t been cancelled outright, but there might be a reason to be concerned. We’ll keep you informed as we hear more about the situation.

Today, Polygon published a massive piece about Sonic’s history. The site chronicled the series’ early times all the way up through Rise of Lyric as well as the future (in general terms).

Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale will take up 12,108 blocks on your SD card. For those that are curious, that’s nearly 1.5GB.
Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale will be available at retail and on the eShop in North America. In Europe, it’s a digital-only game.
Outside the Realm hitting the North American Wii U eShop on Thursday

TreeFall Studios is releasing another game on the North American Wii U eShop this week. On Thursday, “Outside the Realm” will be available. It’ll cost $1.99 regularly, but the launch price will be $0.49.
Outside the Realm uses touch-based puzzles on the GamePad in addition to some side-scrolling sections. You can watch a trailer below.
