As Halloween and the latest National StreetPass Weekend approaches, Nintendo has sent out a new Mii to 3DS users in North America. System owners should be getting Kyle from Nintendo via SpotPass so long as they have SpotPass enabled. He comes with the Boo hat and greeting posted above.

Even more details and screenshots for Genei Ibun Roku #FE have been made available. Check out the latest below.

– From the real world of Tokyo, players will visit an area known as the “Idolsphere”
– This other world has various gimmicks that block players’ paths
– There are many enemy Mirages here as well
– Gimmicks are tailored to each location
– Ex: in Shibuya’s “106” building dungeon, the goal is to get to the top floor by moving floors using a giant mannequin arm
– Break into battle when you make contact with an enemy symbol
– Characters will perform actions when you give them commands
– When you strike an enemy’s weak point, a “Session Attack” will occur and you’ll let out a number of continuous attacks
– Get experience points, skill points, and Performa by winning battles
– As you amass skill points, you can acquire new skills
– Use Performa as material to create new weapons

Update: Despite what Game Informer previously reported, Lin’s age has not been changed in the west. John Ricciardi, from localization company 8-4, says that she’s still 13.

For the western version of Xenoblade Chronicles X, Nintendo and Monolith Soft have changed a few outfits for Lin. This character is 13 years-old in the Japanese version, and just a couple of years older in the western version.

In the images above, the more-revealing outfits are from the Japanese version. The ones with less skin exposed are from the European (and presumably North American) version.

More tidbits have been translated from Nikkei’s interview with Nintendo president and CEO Tatsumi Kimishima.

We already heard Kimishima’s mention that Nintendo has interest in bringing its mobile apps to over 100 countries (with eight supported languages). We also heard him mention that he believes Nintendo could exceed profits from the Wii and DS days.

In terms of what’s new, here’s what Kimishima said when asked when the localization of Nintendo’s mobile apps will take place:

“I want to do it as soon as possible. This is because our goal is to increase the number of My Nintendo members. It would be good if we reached one hundred or two hundred million members.”

Kimishima was also asked if Nintendo will lose money on Miitomo. He replied with the following:

“If you want to dress your Mii in certain outfits, it’ll be so that you can select and purchase them. Also, it will have game elements.”

Finally, Kimishima did briefly touch on NX. Of course, Nintendo won’t be talking about it until next year, but it “offers a totally new experience.” He also wants it to be adopted quicker than the 3DS and the Wii U.
