Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory

Update: Despite what Square Enix announced, Nintendo says the demo is releasing today.


Original: Square Enix has dated the recently-announced Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory demo. Players will be able to try out the title starting on October 15.

The demo contains four Field Battle Music Stages as well as two Co-op Music Stages for a total of six playable songs.

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory is due out for Switch on November 13.

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit

With a couple of days to go until launch, the first reviews for Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit are starting to drop. We’ve rounded up some of the initial verdicts below.

Sniper Elite 4

Rebellion has dated the Switch version of Sniper Elite 4, its tactical third-person combat game and latest addition to the sharpshooting series. Players on Nintendo’s console can pick up the title on November 17.

On Switch, motion aiming with gyroscopic controls will be available. HD Rumble, local wireless multiplayer, and the Pro Controller are supported.

Sniper Elite 4 will be sold both physically and digitally on Switch.

Cris Tales

The RPG Cris Tales won’t be releasing in November as originally planned. Modus Games, Dreams Uncorporated, and SYCK have announced that the game is being pushed back to early 2021.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate version 9.0.0

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate just received its major 9.0.0 update a short while ago. Aside from supporting the new Minecraft DLC, it also includes a bunch of fighter adjustments.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate version 9.0.0

Nintendo just released the new version 9.0.0 update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It can be downloaded immediately by going to the Switch home menu, selecting the icon without starting the game, pressing the + or – button on your controller, choosing “Software Update”, and finally “Via the Internet”.

As a reminder, the new Steve / Alex Minecraft DLC is the highlight of today’s update, which ties in with Fighters Pass Vol. 2. Those that buy the latest content can also access the Minecraft World stage. Additionally, new Mii Fighter costumes can be purchased separately, including Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes.
