Pokemon Sword and Shield

Glitches and exploits seem to come hand in hand with Pokemon games. The latest entry, Pokemon Sword/Shield, was just recently impacted by one major issue in which hacked creatures could be sent through Surprise Trade. The situation resulted in crashes and could prevent online interactions. Fortunately, the games were eventually patched.

Another notable exploit seems to have popped up recently. Players have discovered that the results of an online match can be negated, and in a relatively simple manner. All that’s needed is to push the power button to disconnect the Switch at a specific time after losing a match. If it’s done the right way, the loser won’t lose points for the match and the winner won’t gain any points for their victory.

The bug has already circulated quite extensively on social media, including how it can be performed. Here’s a look at it in action:

In this month’s issue of Nintendo Dream, Fire Emblem: Three Houses directors Toshiyuki Kusakihara and Genki Yokota were interviewed. The new Cindered Shadows DLC was one of the topics brought up during the discussion.

When asked how the team went about choosing which characters from the main story would appear in the side story, Kusakihara explained:

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III is coming to Switch this summer. NIS America and Falcom’s support isn’t stopping there, as it’s been announced today that The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV will also be released on the console.

As the RPG series continues, this will be the final entry in the Trails of Cold Steel arc. It will not feature the standard student-life setting due to what took place in the last game.

Happinet has published the fourth producer letter for Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia. This time around, Kazuhiro Igarashi introduces the game’s Records of History mode and options settings.

Nintendo has announced a new Spirit Board event for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. As part of that, spirits from Animal Crossing will be added to the game. Four new ones will appear in total.

The latest Smash Bros. Ultimate Spirit Board event goes live on April 3. Expect it to last a total of five days.
