Nintendo has announced the latest Smash Bros. Ultimate Spirit Board event. This time around, the theme is “Super Smash Spirits”, in which heroines will be appearing. Peachette will be appearing as a brand new spirit.
The latest Smash Bros. Ultimate Spirit Board event should kick off on Friday. Like past events, look for it to last a few days.

Today’s Pokemon 2019 Press Conference will be kicking off not too long from now. The festivities begin at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET / 2 AM in the UK / 3 AM in Europe.
It’s unclear what exactly will be discussed during the conference. Other than the fact that it will feature “a number of topics of interest to Pokémon fans”, nothing else is known at this time. Regardless, you can keep track of the event with the live stream and our live blog below.
Super Mario Maker Wii U / 3DS courses can’t be brought over to Super Mario Maker 2

Another piece of information surrounding Super Mario Maker 2 has emerged from a press event which took place last week.
A Nintendo Treehouse representative has stated that courses created in Super Mario Maker on Wii U can’t be played or transferred to Super Mario Maker 2. The same goes for levels made in the 3DS version.
As for why transferring isn’t possible, the representative mentioned that the extensive list of new items and features was a big factor in the incompatibility.

Nintendo officially confirms Super Mario Maker 2 doesn’t let you play with friends online, shares statement

Reports began to surface today that Super Mario Maker 2 won’t let you play with friends online. Some thought that this could have just been a miscommunication, but that apparently isn’t so. GameXplain followed up with Nintendo and reconfirmed that you can only play online with random people.

Killer Queen Black physical release revealed

Killer Queen Black will be sold physically on Switch, Liquid Bit and BumbleBear Games have revealed. Nighthawk Interactive will distribute the strategic eight-player arcade action platformer at retail, which was first announced for Switch at last year’s E3. A themed controller skin will be included in the package.

Super Mario Maker 2 supports couch co-op

Nintendo previously made it clear that Super Mario Maker 2 will support multiplayer through online play in competitive and co-op gameplay. You can also play with friends nearby with multiple Switch systems.
After members of the media went hands-on with the game, we’ve learned about another multiplayer aspect in Super Mario Maker 2. Couch co-op is supported, meaning you’ll be able to play through levels with multiple people on one Switch. This should support up to four players.
