Sakurai had plenty of interesting comments to share about how decisions are made regarding new characters, the handling of reveal trailers, how and why the Spirits mode was implemented, and more.

Devolver Digital and Sabotage Studio have confirmed the release of the Messenger+ update for The Messenger. The patch adds a New Game+ mode, a Jukebox, and various quality of life improvements, including the ability to remap controls, a visual cue in the underwater labyrinth for accessibility purposes, and the Prophet’s hint feature directly into the map to help guide adventurers.

Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission

Bandai Namco has shared the latest batch of details for Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission covering the story and Original Mission mode. We’ve rounded up the news below, courtesy of Gematsu.

Thanks to Famitsu, we now have sales data for Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee in Japan. In its first three days, the two games sold 664,198 copies. This figure accounts for physical copies, download cards, Poke Ball Plus bundles, and Switch bundles. Digital sales are not included.

Pokemon: Let’s Go had the second best debut of any Switch game. It only trailed Splatoon 2, which managed to sell slightly more at 670,000 units.

Understandably, Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu / Eevee provided a huge boost to Switch sales. The console sold 180,585 units – or three times more than the previous week.

Nintendo has posted another update to the Smash Bros. Blog for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This time around, we have an introduction to Zelda.

In addition to the new design of Rorona in Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland that was shared out of Famitsu last night, some new information has surfaced online in regards to both characters and the voice cast of the game.

First off, Lionela Heinze has been confirmed to be returning in the game from Atelier Rorona. According to description, Lionela will have become the owner of a new tavern in Atelier Lulua. Her artwork from her previous series appearance can be viewed below.
