Rumor: Switch version of Dragon Quest XI will have content not in the PS4 version
Posted on 6 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Switch | 0 comments
Square Enix’s 38th annual meeting of stockholders took place in Japan last week. During the event, the company apparently commented on the Switch version of Dragon Quest XI once again. One person who attended claims Square Enix stated that the Switch version of Dragon Quest XI will have content not found in the PlayStation 4 version.
At this time, an official transcript of the event has not been published. That means we only have the vague tweet to go by currently.
Despite being one of the first games confirmed for the system, Dragon Quest XI is still not out on Switch. Furthermore, Square Enix has yet to show the game on Nintendo’s console. Producer Hokuto Okamoto previously explained why it was announced so early.

Splatoon 2 producer on the effect of paid Nintendo Switch Online, not ruling out paid premium multiplayer content
Posted on 6 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 0 comments
Up until this point, Splatoon 2 has been entirely free to play online. Yet in just a few months ago, that’s going to change in a notable way. When Nintendo Switch Online fully launches in September, players will need to pay if they want to battle others.
Producer Hisashi Nogami told Polygon that he doesn’t believe the move to paid online multiplayer will have a major impact. However, he does feel that there could be some changes to how people approach the game.
Nintendo: Yoshi Switch “making really good progress”, taking more time for improvements
Posted on 6 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 0 comments
After unveiling Yoshi for Switch last year, the game was nowhere to be seen at this year’s E3. We previously heard that the game would be shown later in 2018 instead.
IGN also asked for an update on the project from Nintendo’s Bill Trinen. Trinen was able to confirm that it’s still on track and “making really good progress.” The reason it’s taking a bit of extra time is to implement a few improvements.
