Runbow releasing physically in August

Runbow was recently made available on Switch as a digital download. But for those who are interested in a physical version, you won’t have to wait much longer for a boxed copy.
Headup Games announced today that Runbow is releasing physically on Switch in North America on August 14. The European launch will take place slightly earlier on August 10.
Here’s a description of the game:
With tons of competitive modes for up to Nine players online and four players locally and a massive single player adventure, run bow is the crazy, colour-based platformer you’ve been waiting for. The world of run bow changes with each swipe of the background, so you’ll have to stay on your toes as platforms and obstacles disappear – if you can’t see something, it doesn’t exist. Slime-san update out now (version 1.2) – Sheeple’s Sequel content and Superslime Edition upgrade

The next big content update has gone live for Slime-san. Version 1.2 is out now for all players, adding in content from the Sheeple’s Sequel and “Superslime Edition” upgrade.

Shining Resonance Refrain is available today on Switch. If you want to play through the RPG in Japanese, that is entirely possible. You’ll just have to take an extra step.
Shining Resonance Refrain has a voice pack on the eShop. It’s entirely free, so it won’t cost you anything extra. Once downloaded, you’ll be able to play through in Japanese.

Dead Cells launches digitally for Switch on August 7, new trailer

Motion Twin announced a release date for the digital version of Dead Cells today. The eShop version is planned for August 7.
Dead Cells will be sold for $24.99 / €24.99. A pre-order discount will knock the price down to $19.99 / €19.99.

First look at Yooka-Laylee’s “64-Bit” tonic

When Yooka-Laylee was funded on Kickstarter, one of the stretch goals met involved was an old-school N64 shader mode. This wasn’t included in the 3D platformer upon its initial launch, but Playtonic will be adding it in soon.
A first look at the shader was posted on Playtonic’s website today. The “demastered” look will be offered through the “64-Bit” tonic.

Cosmic Star Heroine will make its debut on Switch when it launches digitally on August 14, Limited Run Games has announced. Pre-orders will open soon with a 10% discount. A physical version will follow in 2018 / early 2019.

During a Dengeki live stream today, Gust revealed that a trio of Atelier games are coming to Switch. Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland DX, Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland DX, and Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland DX are dated for September 20. Pricing is set at 4,800 yen.
