Update: Splatoon version 1.3.0 is now live. We’ve also added the official patch notes from Nintendo below.

Original: Later tonight, the next Splatoon patch will be going live. Nintendo will be publishing version 1.3.0 following a bit of maintenance.

The patch notes are live, and while they’re only in Japanese at the moment, Reddit’s frozenpandaman was kind enough to translate everything. You can find them in full below. We’ll add in the official English version later today.

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime appeared at Variety’s Entertainment and Technology Summit in Los Angeles today. Reggie commented on a few topics, such as Switch supply, potential TV / movie partnerships, VR / AR.

First, on the topic of getting enough Switch units out there for the holidays, Reggie noted:

“Certainly the demand is there, and our supply chain is there (to hit the 10 million goal). Are we going to have enough for the holiday? That’s what we are focused on.”

The main hook of Super Mario Odyssey is Mario’s ability to capture enemies. This is largely in part possible thanks to his new companion Cappy.

Mario may not be the only character in the game with a possessed head accessory. In new artwork included on the Super Mario Odyssey website, we’re able to see Peach with a crown that looks a whole lot like Cappy. It doesn’t seem like Cappy exactly since it has a slightly more feminine appearance. It’s a very close resemblance, however.

More:

Runbow has already appeared on both Wii U and New 3DS. Could a Switch version be in the works as well? Maybe.

Headup Games, who is publishing Runbow on the PlayStation 4, shared a trailer for the game today. Fans quickly noticed that the YouTube description mentioned a Switch version. When Headup Games was asked about it on Twitter, the line was quickly deleted.

It’s quite possible that this was an error. Then again, 13AM Games has seemingly been teasing plans for Switch as of late:

Even if Runbow isn’t lined up for Switch, 13AM Games definitely appears to be working with the system in some fashion.

Capcom opened the official Switch website for Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2 today. File sizes for both games are included on the page.

First up, Resident Evil Revelations requires 13GB of free space. Resident Evil Revelations 2 doubles that at 26GB. With the second game, since it won’t fit within Switch’s internal memory, a separate microSD card will be needed if you intend to purchase the game.
