A Reddit user by the name of IronMadden has posted a screenshot showing that Vblank is delaying Retro City Rampage DX: Collector’s Edition. Emails from Vblank have been sent out about the physical versions of Retro City Rampage DX saying that the Standard Editions of the game are ready to ship tomorrow, but the Collector’s Editions are being delayed for at least a week. As an apology for the delay there will be four alternate covers included with the Collector’s Edition of the game as a bonus.

Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle launched last week on the Switch in North America and Europe. The game now has a release date for Japan which will be launching on November 2nd. The company working on Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle in Japan also released a new trailer, which you can check out below.

You probably know about the ability to update Switch’s firmware. But did you know that you know that the console has an option to update controllers as well?

First, visit system settings. Then head on over to the “Controllers and Sensors” tab. Scroll down to “Update Controllers”, and both Joy-Con will be updated in a matter of seconds.

What’s behind the update for the controllers? Well, that’s a bit of a mystery. Nintendo doesn’t seem to have any information on that currently, but we’ll let you know if we hear anything.


The Switch itself received a major update today, but it wasn’t the only thing on the console to be patched. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has also been updated and is now at version 1.3.0.

Today’s update enables video capture compatibility and makes other adjustments, such as Blue Shells no longer hitting the second place player when the first place player hasn’t yet crossed the finish line. We’ve included the full patch notes below.

Capcom has unveiled a new aspect regarding the Switch versions of Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2 on Switch. Both titles will have original mini-games built in.

In Resident Evil Revelations, players can take on Ghost Ship Panic. This is a shooter in which you aim for a high score and earn BP to use in Raid Mode. It’s accessible on the initial load screen.

For Resident Evil Revelations 2, Capcom is including Ghouls ‘n Homunculi. Here you’ll explore a deadly island as Barry Button, which is a tribute to Ghouls ‘n Ghosts. You can also go for the high score here and earn rewards for Raid Mode.

Switch received its big 4.0.0 update tonight. It’s arguably the biggest system update for the platform since launch. For a look at the new additions, watch the video below.

Best Buy stores across the US will be hosting a special Super Mario Odyssey event on Saturday. It’ll be held between 12 PM and 3 PM local time.

As far as the actual event goes, you’ll be able to try out Super Mario Odyssey. Fans will also be provided with a free sticker book while supplies last after their play session.

A major system update is now available for Switch. Nintendo just issued version 4.0.0.

Among what was added today, Switch users can capture video for “select games”. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, ARMS, and Splatoon 2 are currently supported. It’s also only possible to capture up to 30 seconds of gameplay.

The Switch version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is once again on display at a media event this week. With the latest footage, we’re able to see the game with the Zelda gear unlocked. Check out the gameplay below.
