GameSeek says it will be taking Switch pre-orders for £198.50 again

The RRP for Switch in the UK is £279.99. Despite that, GameSeek had been honoring pre-orders of £198.50 before the system was properly unveiled last month.
GameSeek will actually be offering consumers another chance to purchase Switch for £198.50 in the near future. This time around, the retailers pre-orders will be for the Neon Red / Neon Blue console. Those who secure a reservation will apparently have their order dispatched prior to release.
Keep in mind that GameSeek takes the money for pre-orders up-front unlike most retailers. It’s apparently done to “deter thieves,” though you may want to exercise caution in any case.

Ubisoft is supporting Switch with Just Dance 2017 at the console’s launch. Steep and Rayman Legends Definitive Edition will also be published at some point this year.
During its latest financial call today, Ubisoft once again commented on Switch. The company said it intends to support Switch strongly, and pointed to Pokemon GO as well as Pokemon Sun/Moon as to why it believes in the Nintendo brand.
Also mentioned is that “Nintendo has a good chance to come back strong in the living room”. A few Switch titles are coming by March 2018, though it’s unclear if Ubisoft has anything else in the pipeline beyond what’s been announced.

Project CARS 2 creative director would love to do something on Switch, but don’t count on a port
Posted on 8 years ago by Fernando in News, Switch | 42 Comments
Project CARS was a disappointment to all who expected it to be a Wii U game, but fared really well and was critically acclaimed. Slightly Mad Studios had to cancel the port of that first game due to the Nintendo platform not being able to perform to their standards.
Now, the creative director of the recently revealed Project CARS 2, Andy Tudor, has talked with Red Bull about Switch. He confirmed that they currently have no projects for the new Nintendo console and that Project CARS 2 probably won’t make it to Switch.
Check out the excerpt of the Red Bull interview in which Tudor talks about what happened with Wii U and what he expects with Switch:
