Video: Sonic Frontiers Switch vs. PS5 graphics comparison

Now that Sonic Frontiers has released, GameXplain has put together a new video comparing the visuals of the Switch PS5 versions of the game.
Obviously, the Switch version doesn’t perform as well as its next gen counterpart. Resolution is maxed out at 720p, and the framerate is capped at 30 FPS. Some textures and geometry also seem less detailed, and most noticeably, pop-in is far more common on the Switch version.

Disgaea 7 gets second trailer

Kirby and the Forgotten Land now the best-selling Kirby game ever

According to the latest data from Nintendo, Kirby and the Forgotten Land has become the best-selling Kirby game ever.
Right now total sales for the title stand at 5.27 million copies worldwide. Believe it or not, this was enough to push it over the edge as the franchise’s new best seller. Kirby’s Dream Land previously held the record with 5.13 million copies sold.

Nintendo’s financial results just went out for November 2022, and as part of that, we have a look at the company’s latest release schedule. The document provides a general overview regarding some of the first and third-party games planned for Switch.
As of now there aren’t major surprises. Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which was given its May 2023 release window in September, is now properly reflected here. Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp still doesn’t have a release window, and the same goes for Metroid Prime 4.

Going along with Nintendo’s November 2022 financial results, the latest list of million sellers on Switch has been provided. We have information about some of the titles that have reached that target, though keep in mind it’s not all encompassing.
A couple of new titles appear for the first time here, including Splatoon 3 and Xenoblade Chronicles 3. These are at 7.90 million and 1.72 million respectively.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet-themed Splatfest announced for Splatoon 3

Original (10/7): A special Pokemon Scarlet and Violet-themed Splatfest has just been announced for Splatoon 3. The event will be held starting on November 11 at 4 PM PT and runs through the same time on November 13.
The Splatfest theme asks which first partner Pokemon players would choose. They can side with Grass-type, Fire-type, or Water-type.

Front Mission 1st: Remake Classic and Modern modes detailed

Front Mission 1st: Remake is going the extra mile by including Classic and Modern game modes. In a tweet published earlier today, Forever Entertainment detailed what’s featured in each and the differences between them. We even have a little bit of gameplay.
With the Classic mode in the game, players can expect the soundtrack without any significant alterations, the original camera view, and essentially the same experience as the original. Meanwhile, Modern mode is where more of the remake aspect comes into play with a remastered soundtrack, perspective camera view, and more freedom with the camera thanks to the ability to change the rotation and pitch. On top of that, the team has implemented small fixes and improvements when playing in Modern.
River City Girls 2 gets Provie character trailer
