System: Switch
Release date: March 17, 2022
Developer: Arc System Works
Publisher: Atlus
A longtime cult classic among Persona and fighting game fans alike, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is finally seeing a re-release on modern systems as part of the series’ 25th anniversary celebration. Atlus and Arc System Works came together a decade ago to create a crossover for the ages, pairing Arc System Works’ wild and incredibly fun fighting game style with the world of Persona and its unmatchable, overflowing swagger. That swagger is present in every facet of the game, including the familiar characters and aesthetic, electric soundtrack, slick flourishes throughout the presentation that would go on to take even Masahiro Sakurai’s heart later in the series, and its classic Persona-style mystery.

Triangle Strategy producer on how the name was decided

Square Enix is no stranger to unconventional game names, and that tradition has continued with their HD-2D titles on Switch – those being Octopath Traveler and Triangle Strategy. In a recent interview, producer Tomoya Asano shared some insight into the team’s thinking.
Asano told Inversus that Square Enix considers “if the player can imagine what kind of game it is based on the title.” With Triangle Strategy, you play it from three angles and it’s a strategic experience. Square Enix initially included “Project” so that there would be “a little bit of room to be able to change the name”. Since it was well-received by fans, the “Triangle Strategy” name stuck.

[Let’s Talk] Show off your Switch groups
Posted on 2 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Let's Talk, Switch | 0 comments
This week, Nintendo dropped a new Switch firmware update with significant functionality. Version 14.0.0 has introduced something called groups, which is a way for system owners to organize their games and other content on the home menu. It’s the closest thing we have to folders at the moment.
With groups, you can organize things in pretty much any way you’d like. Some are choosing to create them based on their favorite games, different games in a particular franchise, and more.
We’re curious to see how you’ve arranged your groups, so feel free to share screenshots below. You can also tell us about by writing a comment.
