Mattel and Milestone have unveiled a new SpongeBob SquarePants season for Hot Wheels Unleashed, and the fun starts today.
The event includes a variety of free and premium content. There are six vehicles up for grabs, including ones for SpongeBob, Sandy, Squidward, Plankton, Mr. Krabs, and Patrick Star, along with Basement and Player Profile customization items and more. Players can also participate in different challenges.

Garfield getting new games from Microids

Cotton Fantasy western release delayed to this spring, new trailer

ININ Games has made the decision to delay Cotton Fantasy in the west, meaning it will not launch in North America and Europe this winter. Instead, the company has provided a new spring release window.
Cotton Fantasy originally debuted in Japan back in December as Cotton Rock ‘n’ Roll.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga launches in April, new trailer

It’s been a long time coming, but LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga finally has a release date. The game will arrive for Switch on April 5, Warner Bros. Interactive and TT Games revealed today.
We first heard about LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga in 2019 and it had originally been on track for release that year. That target eventually slipped by and in August 2020, it was delayed to Spring 2021. Last April, it was pushed back indefinitely. Finally, last August, it was given a new Spring 2022 release window.

Nintendo has just issued a new Switch firmware update, version 13.2.1.
As noted in today’s patch notes, it includes the following: “General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.” Version 13.2.1 does not contain any new features, changes, or any other content.

Ghostrunner Project_Hel expansion delayed

The big Project_Hel expansion for Ghostrunner has been delayed, and will not release on January 27 as originally planned. 505 Games, One More Level, 3D Realms, Slipgate Ironworks, and All In! Games have shifted the DLC to March 3 instead.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human – Cloud Version has been delayed, meaning the Switch edition won’t be ready to go next month.
The game had previously been announced for a February 2, 2022 launch. While that’s still true for all other platforms, it’ll be a significantly longer wait on Nintendo’s console. Techland says it aims to have the Switch version wrapped up “within six months from the original date.”
