When Shantae: Half-Genie Hero was on Kickstarter, a “friends mode” stretch goal was funded. It promised Sky, Bolo, and Rottytops as playable characters. There’s more to this than just a new mode, as WayForward is calling it “Friends to the End” as an entirely new expansion.

First details about Friends to the End have just been posted on Kickstarter in a new update. WayForward provides the following information:

The Champions amiibo for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild arrive next week. We had some idea about what these figures would do, but Nintendo has provided further information on the official Zelda Facebook page.

Toys “R” us is running a new sale starting today. If you buy one game for either Switch or Wii U, you can get another one at 40% off. The same offer applies to 3DS titles, but only with a 20% discount. Games like Super Mario Odyssey and Zelda: Breath of the Wild are eligible.

Miiverse will be shutting down later this month. Its closure will have an impact on Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS, with the Wii U version in particular being affected.

Nintendo posted a message on its Japanese website today clarifying how the end of Miiverse will impact the two games. Here’s what the company shared:

[3DS only]

– Posting screenshots on Miiverse
– You can continue to share screenshots with friends with Image Share

[Wii U only]

– Sharing screenshots from gameplay, including Miiverse and friends
– Sharing stages in Stage Builder, including with friends
– Posting replays to YouTube
– Creating Normal Tourneys
– Tourney Mode will be ending entirely
– Miiverse stage can still be played, but messages will not be displayed and you can’t post messages once a match is over
