Wii U

PDP has a couple of more “Fight Pad” controllers on the way. The latest two, as revealed through GameStop listings, are based on Zero Suit Samus and Toad.

All Fight Pads from PDP plug into the Wii Remote and work with the Wii U and Wii. They support games that make use of the Classic Controller/Classic Controller Pro in addition to most Virtual Console games.

GameStop has the Zero Suit Samus and Toad Fight Pads listed for a September 15 release. The Metal Mario controller, which we heard about late last month via an Amazon UK listing, has the same launch date on GameStop’s site.

Nintendo UK uploaded a new Yoshi’s Woolly World gameplay ad today focusing on amiibo. Watch it below.

During its first week, Splatoon experienced one of the highest sell-through rates ever in Japan. That number came in at 97.33 percent, which was a sign that the game was almost impossible to find in all stores.

Splatoon has now been on the market for a second week and has yet to show any signs of slowing down. As stated in a Dengeki report, the shooter sold nearly 70,000 copies with a sell-through rate of 90 percent between June 1 and June 7. Media Create’s information will probably vary just slightly, but this is a sign that consumers are still very much interested in Splatoon.

Additional videos have been uploaded to YouTube showing the new Kelp Dome map in Splatoon. You can watch three new ones below.

Comcept and Inti Creates have decided to share a few details about their upcoming multi-platform title, Mighty No.9. Although the new details are light at this time, they have listed out some of the details by console and here is what we know so far:

Wii U

The version available will have GamePad support, but no motion control, amiibo, or Miiverse support. The details for the Classic Controller are unknown yet and are listed as TBC.

3DS

The 3DS version will be 3D enabled, as well as have Touch screen support. However it appears that there will be no SpotPass, StreetPass, or Mii support, and as with the Wii U version no amiibo.

Keep in mind some of these details could change once the game has launched, so we will keep you posted as more information is released.

Nintendo World Report put together a new video comparing the 3DS and Wii U versions of Hyrule Warriors. Check it out below.

Last night, Nintendo revealed that Devil’s Third is heading to Japan on August 4. That was followed by a release date announcement of August 28 for Europe. North America is now the only piece of the puzzle that’s missing.

If GameFly is to be believed, Devil’s Third is also coming to North America on August 28. We’ll need an confirmation from Nintendo before we can take this out of rumor territory, but the one thing I can say is that this retailer has proven accurate in the past. In any case, I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see official news during E3 next week.
