Wii U

Slightly Mad Studios and Bandai Namco have a bunch of free car DLC lined up for Project CARS. The first piece of content will be the Lykan Hypersport, a car heavily featured in the Furious 7 film. More car DLC will be releasing on a regular basis.

Project CARS will launch for Wii U… at some point. Other versions of the game have been delayed several times and are now coming in May, but the Wii U edition has been “TBA” for several months. It’s not cancelled though!

Capcom has announced that it will be hosting a major event called Monster Hunter’s Gathering 2015. The event is scheduled to take place on May 31 and will be held at the Tokyo International Forum.

The Event will be an opportunity for Hunters to get together and meet and will also have Celebrity guests that are fans of the series in attendance as well. Event goers will also be able to acquire exclusive Event goods that are sure to be pretty highly sought after.

If I said it once, I said it a million times; complicated games are not my forte. While most would prefer to spend hours grinding in the latest MMO and cry their eyes out from life-draining games such as Dark Souls, you’ll most likely find me playing Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker alone in my room and giddying with excitement waiting for Toad to do the next adorable thing. As sad of a life choice that may seem, I honestly prefer it this way. Why slay mighty beasts when I can admire the ever-so-cute Toad all day? So, that’s why it took me forever to finally get my hands on the famous Monster Hunter series, and boy am I glad I did.

I had a set plan in place for this week’s Just a Chat, but everything changed when Nintendo announced a delay for Zelda Wii U. That’s the big story for this week’s discussion. Still, Daan and I get around to some other topics as well, including tidbits from Satoru Iwata, Splatoon, and Smash Bros.
