Activision has already released a trilogy of games for the Angry Birds franchise. Now the publisher seems to be doing the same with Cut the Rope.

Although Activision hasn’t made an official announcement just yet, a rating appeared on the OFLC earlier today for “Cut the Rope Trilogy”. Exient Entertainment is developing the compilation – the same studio behind Angry Birds Trilogy on 3DS and the recently-released Angry Birds Star Wars.

A new press release sent out by Spike TV reconfirms Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime’s appearance at VGX 2013 this weekend. He’ll be “presenting a new look at an upcoming Wii U game.”

Is that a reference to an already-announced Wii U game? Or something brand new? The announcement doesn’t say, though the wording sort of points to the former.

VGX 2013 will air this Saturday at 6 PM ET / 3 PM PT.

Nintendo of France deputy general manager Philippe Lavoué shared updated Wii U and 3DS sales figures for the country while speaking with JDLi.

According to Lavoué, Wii U’s life-to-date hardware sales stand at 175,000 in France as of the middle of November.

As for 3DS, the system’s life-to-date sales come in at 2,150,000 units. The 2DS accounts for 30 percent of the 3DS’ total sales. 3DS possesses a market share of 50 percent of all systems at the moment.

It’s also worth mentioning that 3DS software sales rose from 850,000 to 1,700,000 year-over-year during the same timeframe.

Additionally, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y collectively sold 220,000 copies in its first three weeks of availability.

We also have the following (Google translated) comments from Lavoué:

Fire Emblem: Awakening and New Super Luigi U are available for just $15 as of now. Thing is, you’ll need to find a store nearby as both are out of stock for shipping. Check out that link and you’ll find other titles for pretty decent prices as well such as LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins for $15.

Leaks from the latest issue of Famitsu reveal an interesting tidbit for Monster Hunter Frontier G. While we don’t have the exact details just yet, the game will feature a collaboration with Nintendo’s Fire Emblem series.

On Wii U, Frontier G will include two special costumes from Fire Emblem. Players will be able to dress as Chrom and Lucina. It’s unclear if there any any additional costumes or further collaborations at this time.
