Nintendo says its devs will still focus on the original Switch and its features when creating games

In a couple of months, a new version of the Switch will be on the market. The Switch Lite is similar to the original in many ways, but is missing key features like HD Rumble and the ability to detach the Joy-Con. What does that mean for the original system?
Not much, apparently. In an interview with Time, Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser indicated that its developers “will be very focused on the Nintendo Switch flagship device, and building games that utilize the capability of that machine.”

Nintendo submits FCC filings involving updated processor and new flash storage chips for Switch

The Verge has spotted a new Nintendo filing with the Federal Communications Commission, which indicates that the company may be reworking the components of the original Switch. The “Class II Permission Change” involves a new processor and new flash storage chips.
It’s not entirely clear what this means at present. The Verge suggests that updated chips could lead to fewer slowdowns, faster load times, longer battery life, less heat, or possibly even none of the above.
