We have the full patch notes for ARMS version 5.3.0 below.

    Rocket League

Last week, Rocket League received its major Tournaments Update. It unfortunately brought about some new issues, but Psyonix has been on the case since then. Rocket League will be getting another update very soon, though until it’s live, cross-platform play will be disabled on the platform.

Psyonix has apologized for the newest issues and will be offering players a gift to thank fans for their patience:

Bethesda has been supporting Switch much more than any other prior Nintendo platforms. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Doom made it to the system late last year, with Wolfenstein II following sometime in 2018.

In an interview at PAX East, Bethesda Softworks senior VP of marketing Pete Hines was asked quite a bit about Switch. The discussion started with the possibility of bringing other previously-released titles to the platform, to which Hines stated:

The latest issue of MCV featured a lengthy interview with NIS America president Takuro Yamashita. Yamashita spoke about SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy, the opportunities on Switch, and sales of Disgaea 5 Complete on the west.

One part of the interview in particular touched on SNK Heroines, and how Nintendo had requested to work with SNK on an exclusive basis. Yamashita also mentioned that physical copies will only be offered on Switch, with Nintendo buying many units and acting as a distributor.

Recently, Warner Bros. and TT Games released a new update for LEGO Worlds. The latest version is 1.2.4.

After updating the Steam version, the LEGO Worlds team shared some patch notes. Fortunately, the information also included information about what applies to Switch.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1+2

Following up on the Japanese news from earlier today, Capcom has shared western release details for Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2. A release is planned for July 24.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2 will be sold digitally for $19.99 each and as part of a special retail bundle in North America for $39.99.

In the Nintendo scene, Treasure is known for its work on the Sin & Punishment series. The studio also created the cult-classic shoot ’em up Ikaruga, and it now seems the developer is looking into a possible Switch version.

Treasure said on Twitter today that Switch can be played vertically, so the company has been receiving requests to port Ikaruga. Treasure bought a 108 yen stand at Daiso and tried placing the system vertically, but noted that it should’ve been 3mm broader. Horizontally it’s perfect, but vertically it’s a bit lacking.

In a nutshell, the tweet is about Treasure contemplating how playing Ikaruga vertically would work on Switch. However, it sounds like they feel like the screen is not quite broad enough when placed vertically. We’ll have to wait and see how this plays out.
