2021 is coming to an end, and right now is a good time to examine how Nintendo’s year was. After the very unusual 2020, I was surprised to see that this year the company managed to get a lot of things back to “normal” – mainly the Nintendo Directs that came back with full force.

All in all, I think that we saw a great year for Nintendo and that’s exactly what I discuss in the video below. Be sure to check it out and also share your opinions about the Big N in 2021.

Power Rangers Battle for the Grid update 2.9.0

A new 2.9.0 update is now available for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid. Based on the information shared by nWay, several adjustments are included.

Coming fresh off the heels of the announcement of Windjammers 2’s release date, the people at Pix’n Love Publishing and developer DotEmu have announced that both Windjammers and Windjammers 2 will be getting a physical release on Switch in the form of the Windjammers Ultimate Collector’s Edition.

Just like the past couple of years, Nintendo has just gone live with its 2021 Switch Year in Review.

The site provides Switch owners about a whole bunch of information from the last twelve months. They can learn about how many games they played, the amount of hours spent during the year, their most played games, their most active day, split between docked and portable play, and Platinum / Gold Points earned on My Nintendo. The site even lets visitors select their favorite game this year, then download a neat image that can be shared with others.

Death end re;Quest 2 release date

Idea Factory has nailed down a release date for the Switch version of Death end re;Quest 2 in the west. The horror-inspired RPG will launch on February 8, 2022 in North America and February 11 in Europe, the company confirmed today.

Idea Factory mentioned that all previously released DLC for the PS4 version (both free and paid) will be built into in the Switch port, as well as the original Japanese Glitch outfits.

Minecraft Dungeons Cloudy Climb trailer

Mojang Studios has readied a new Minecraft Dungeons to celebrate the release of Cloudy Climb, the game’s first Seasonal Adventure. It’s out on Switch as of today.

Crystar release date

NIS America has set a western release date for Crystar, the Japanese RPG from FuRyu and Gemdrops. It will be available on March 29, 2022 in North America. For those in Europe, it’s slated for April 1.

Atelier Sophie 2 Diebold Lewerenz

Another character trailer for Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream has arrived, which shows off Diebold Lewerenz. Kengo Kawanishi plays the role.

Chocobo GP Lite

Chocobo GP now has a release date on Switch, and a Lite version has been revealed. The racer will launch on March 10, 2022, Square Enix confirmed today.

A free-to-download version of the game, titled Chocobo GP Lite, will be available at launch. Here racers can play through the Story Mode prologue in single player mode and can participate in both local and online multiplayer races with up to eight racers, if hosted by a friend with the full version of the game. Moreover, Chocobo GP Lite players can test out the fast-paced 64-player tournaments in Chocobo GP mode. Save data can be carried over from Chocobo GP Lite to the full game.
