Guitar Hero: World Tour was the first entry in the series to introduce drums, which brought about its own set of problems. In fact, production issues surrounding the kits were substantial enough that director Brian Bright ended up sneaking into China to get things fixed.
In an interview with Wireframe, Bright felt he needed to take action after discovering that the initial drum kits he saw “had a ton of cross-talk and dead zones, to the point where they were unplayable.” Because of this, he ended up buying a ticket to China – without informing his boss – to meet with RedOctane. Then while on the way to visit factories, they had to sneak past a checkpoint since they brought Xboxes with them which were not allowed in the country.
Toad is one of the key characters in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and Keegan-Michael Key – who plays the character – has now discussed how he found the voice for the role.
In a Fandango interview, Key talked about how he was looking to “almost pretend like I was sucking on a helium balloon while I was doing the recording.” Here’s what he shared:

For a lapsed real-world skateboarder like myself, Session: Skate Sim is a sobering reality check. Back in 2020, Activision’s Tony Hawk’s remake momentarily convinced me that I had the skills to recommit to the sport – that within a few weeks I’d be busting out Tre Flips with the best of them. If only I had been given access to Session: Skate Sim back then, so that I could be brought back down to earth and reminded of just how achingly difficult skateboarding really is. Upon casting your eye over Session for the first time, you may be fooled into thinking that it follows in the footsteps of EA’s Skate franchise. In reality this game is to Skate what actually going outside and skateboarding is to sitting on the couch and thinking about it. It’s incredibly hard. Session: Skate Sim comes to us Switch owners at the end of a long Early Access run on other platforms. Following years of iterative patches and improvements, the game has now reached its version 1.0 milestone. Unfortunately, the game we’ve been landed with feels anything but finished.
