After previously appearing on PC and mobile to a strong reception, The Battle of Polytopia is coming to Switch. It’s due out digitally on October 12, 2022.

The game is described as “an award winning unique turn based strategy game about controlling the map, fighting enemy tribes, discovering new lands and mastering new technologies. You take on the role as the ruler of a tribe and attempt to build a civilization in a turn based competition with the other tribes.” It promises “civilization style strategy” with a “sleek user interface and great depth in gameplay.”

In an unexpected move, it seems like the Anniversary Edition of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has just been made available to players via the Switch eShop.

While the game had previously been rumored to come to Switch, with a rating for it popping up recently in both Europe and Taiwan, this is still a bit of a sudden release. Regardless, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition seems to be currently available for purchase in all regions, with the option for players to either upgrade from an existing version of the game or purchase a bundle with the base game and Anniversary content both included.

Here is a very brief blurb from Bethesda’s website regarding the content featured in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition:

The console release date of upcoming horror RPG, The Witch’s House MV, may have been confirmed via a Playstation Store listing. Assuming the Switch version launches the same day as its PS4 counterpart, the game will release on the system in just a couple of weeks, on October 13, 2022.

The Witch’s House MV is an updated version of a 2012 Japanese horror RPG game made in RPG Maker VX, with an emphasis on puzzle-solving and jump scares. This same updated version had originally released on PC in 2018 but will now be making its first console appearance.

Rebel Transmute, a Metroidvania game with a hand-painted pixel art aesthetic, will be seeing release on Switch following a successful Kickstarter campaign. Evan Tor Games reached its $17,000 funding goal to help make the project a reality. Additionally, in the final days of the campaign, a $24,000 Switch stretch goal was reached.

Rebel Transmute has you taking on the role of a space scrapper, Moon Mikono, who goes on a mission to uncover the true fate of her missing mother.
