Bandai Namco has just announced that the physical version of Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival will unfortunately be experiencing a delay. The title will now release physically on October 7.

This delay is being caused by supply chain complications. Thankfully, this will not be affecting the digital release of the title, which is still set to launch on September 23.

Konami have just announced surprise remasters for the first two titles in the Suikoden series in the form of Suikoden I&II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars. The title is set to come to Switch in 2023 and will mark the first time a mainline Suikoden title appears on a Nintendo platform.

The game is a remaster of Suikoden and Suikoden II, originally released on Playstation in 1995 and 1998, though this title also seems to be drawing inspiration from Genso Suikoden I & II, a re-release of those first two games released on PSP in 2006. This new collection promises a number of new additions, including HD visuals, an improved area map, a conversation log, auto-saves and more.

A new Splatoon 3 update just dropped, with Nintendo issuing version 1.1.1.

This is a notable patch as there are changes and fixes to various aspects of the game. Splatfests, player controls, multiplayer, Salmon Run, and single-player have all been touched up in one way or another.

One aspect worth pointing to specifically is that Nintendo adjusted the rate of Tricolor Battle occurrence and from the defending team’s perspective, they will trigger somewhat less frequently than before. However, Nintendo says the change is “temporary”.
