A physical version of Overlord: Escape from Nazarick is planned for Switch, it’s been revealed.

The Metroidvania title was announced for Nintendo’s console back in December. After that, it was confirmed for a June debut. It’s looking like the game will mostly be a digital-only release, but a physical version is set for Japan. Additionally, it will come with full English support. That means despite being a Japanese copy, any Switch owner can play through the game by importing.

Silt has launched on Switch, and to celebrate, we have a new trailer. Fireshine Games and Spiral Circus are providing a final look at the underwater puzzle-adventure game.

The card-collecting, monster-bashing adventure title Plunder Dungeons will be appearing on Switch this month, developer Chequered Ink has announced. A release is planned for June 17, 2022.

Beach Boys: The Perfect Date, which just came out on the Switch eShop last week, appears to prominently feature assets taken from another game and even fan art.

Nintendo’s digital store is filled with all sorts of releases including some top tier experiences, but also some questionable titles. Unfortunately, Beach Boys: The Perfect Date apparently falls into the latter category.

The Mario movie is coming out next year and while very little is known about it, its delay in April hasn’t given Nintendo fans a lot of confidence in the production. Of course, it’s too early to tell if it will be a good movie or not, but what is interesting to discuss is what other Nintendo properties would be good movies.

When we consider this, it’s fair to ask – what makes a “good” movie? Is it the plot, memorable characters, an amazing soundtrack, or lots of Morbin’? I would say all that helps (especially the Morbin’), but when it comes to conceptualizing a movie from a video game, there’s a greater thing to consider: how does the core premise fits into a cinematic wrapper?

Gameplay has emerged for Wonder Boy Collection, a new package for Switch. The release contains Wonder Boy, Wonder Boy in Monster Land, Wonder Boy in Monster World, and Monster World IV.

In partnership with developer Rejected Games, Ultimate Games has announced the release of Mr. Prepper on Switch.

The survival title previously debuted on PC with a positive reception. It’s a survival game with elements of crafting and adventure. One of its highlights is a unique shelter building system that’s meant to withstand the effects of a nuclear apocalypse.

Ratalakia Games and The Bworg have readied a new trailer for TEN: Ten Rooms, Ten Seconds. The video celebrates the launch of the challenging platformer following its release this week.
